Punta Monpas - San Sebastián

The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Everything in the room was brand new and worked perfectly. The location is excellent too, slightly removed from the busy city. I loved the quieter location with a view of the ocean.

Even the deluxe double room was a little cramped.

Great location at the far end of one of the beaches. A pleasant 10 minute walk in to the old town along the beach front or simply divert off a back street and there are plenty of local bars and restaurants along the way. Almost all the rooms have windows to the beach and a great location to see the sun set from the room with a glass of Rioja in hand. Decent sized rooms and bathroom with shower. The building is small with maybe only 13-14 rooms but they work hard at providing a good service and keeping the place very clean and tidy. Despite being so small they had someone on the desk seemingly through the night - OK 1.30am was probably the latest we made it home. No noisy bars around. Great beach literally on your door step.

Could not fault the place - decent coffee for breakfast. Breakfast was more than sufficient with cereals and yoghurt, coisant and pan aux chocolat or toast with ham and cheese or jams. All good!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff made the stay a pleasure. Great location away from hustle and bustle of San Sebastian with amazing views.

The location and the room set-up with sitting room a bit separate from the rest of the room were great. Very clean and neat. Our room was on the top (1st) floor, which gave us a nice view.

They advertise breakfast available and a cafeteria open, but, none of that (except for berr on tap, wich was great) was operational while there.

Pagaba 122 euros para una habitacion sin aire acondicionado con temperaturas super altas. No estaba contenta. I paid 122 euros for a 'superior' room with no air conditioning in very high temperatures. Not acceptable.

The lack of air con. Very expensive, I could have stayed in a five star hotel instead for that price.

Locations is great. Full of young people, fantastic beach location and good surfing. As well as beach locations only 5 mins walk from very lively city. Picturesque place.

Rooms are small and bedroom is underground but service very good.

The staff were very helpful and the position is great!

I was in the room closest to reception so I got all the noise from reception - room 15

great location, very nice staff and modern and functional decorated rooms. They washed our clothes for free.

50 yards from crashing waves on the beach.

Fantastic! 2 mins from the beach, 10 mins for the best tapas in the world, best views of the beach, just gorgeous.

Location next to beach great and quiet, yet only 500m from centre of town. Small and friendly and a very different experience to normal hotels !

Cramped accomodation, no privacy when using glazed bathroom facilities (we were travelling as a group of friends) and view only available if standing at window. Very expensive for what we got. Staff spoke good English but not happy to chat.

Location was fantastic and it has been decorated very stylishly. The staff were helpfull and if you are travelling light, it would be ideal.

The rooms have been designed very economically with regard to space. I would prefer a room that is a bit more spacious.
